Refugees Should Only Stay In Europe Temporarily, According To Dalai Lama Europe Belongs To Europeans

While the political left is doing everything that they can to promote the idea that diversity is a good thing for western civilized countries they can not be too happy with the Dalai Lama at the moment. Wednesday saw the Dalai Lama deliver a message that goes against everything the political left wants to promote when he said that refugees from Muslim countries must return to where they came from instead of flooding western countries. The 83 year old exhiled Tibetan spiritual leader declared that Europe belongs to the Europeans. When one considers the influence the large number of religious followers that the Dalai Lama has this statement had to feel like a slap to the face of the political left.

The Dalai Lama contends that Europeans are morally responsible to help the large number of refugees that are reaching out to them, because they are in danger in their own home nations. However, in the eyes of the Dalai Lama Europe does not belong to the refugees and there needs to come a point where the refugees return to their own homelands once more. He feels that Europeans should receive the refugees and educate them, but then the refugees should take what they have been taught and develop their own countries.

It was less than three years ago when the Dalai Lama made a similar statement that does not support the leftist agenda when he expressed concern that there may come a day when Germany becomes an Arab country. He told a German newspaper in 2016, “Europe, for example Germany, can not become an Arab country. Germany is Germany. There are so many that in practice it becomes difficult. From a moral point of view, too, I think that the refugees should only be admitted temporarily.”

The statements from the Dalai Lama came three days after Sweden had its general election and saw the Swedish Democrats who are well known both in the local media and international media for their strong opposition to mass migration gain most of the vote. Perhaps American Democrats should take a lesson from their Swedish counterparts and learn to put American lives first.
